I once heard on a Casey Kasem radio show back in 1978 that a then very young Paul Anka was supposed to fly on the plane that killed Buddy Holley, Ritchie Valens, and the Big Bopper but Paul Anka's manager wouldn't let him go because he promised Paul's mom he would look after him. Has anybody else heard this?Casey Kasem talking about a young Paul Anka?
I think I heard that somewhere. It's a shame too. I'd gladly trade Paul Anka for any of the others.
